In just a few weeks the first Christmas markets will open their doors, and so here I present to you today your 2019 guide to the Switzerland’s best Christmas markets so you don’t miss any of the festivities.
This list is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Christmas markets in Switzerland. Most villages will host some sort of festive market over the month of December. But this list comes from suggestions in person and online that I have collated over the years. Some markets are small local affairs and some are a larger and stretch on the entire season, but all are guaranteed to get your into the holiday spirit.
